I'm a maker and I want to get involved, what do I do?

Check our Events & Apply page for dates of our upcoming markets. From here you can apply for a stall. If you aren't available for any of our upcoming dates you can fill in a join us form to be added to our mailing list. We will then let you know about future dates.

Do I need Insurance?

In order to have a stall at Makers Bazaar events, we do require you to have Public Liabilty Insurance.

If you aren't sure where to get insurance from here are a few companies who offer it that you can look into: Public Liability Insurance providers.

How many stalls are there?

We are able to host a maximum of 20 stalls. We always do our very best to have a good selection of different types of product so there is a wide variety for visitors and to minimise competition between stallholders. All stall holders have the same size table and are limited to 1 pitch space unless granted a double space upon request.

Where is the Venue?

Our new venue is Chantry Hall in the centre of Norwich.

It is just along from the entrance to Chantry Place Shopping Centre (formally Chapelfields) just behind Wagamama's.

Where can I park?

While there is a Car Park at Chantry Hall, this will be reserved for the congregation attending St. Peter Mancroft Church on Sundays. We will provide details for dropping off on the morning of the fairs.

There are then several parking options nearby which are just a short walk back to the venue:

Q-Park - Chantry Place

The Forum

National Car Parks Ltd, Queens Road

St Giles Multi Storey

How much does it cost?

£30 for a 6ft pitch.

We are able to provide 13 of the tables, so we will have to reply on 7 of you to bring a table with you. Upon applying we are asking if you are able to bring a table if needed. Of those that have a table, to keep things fair, we will select 7 at random to bring a table with them and they will be offered a reduced pitch rate of £25.

What facilities are provided?

There is access to a toilet and kitchen where you can make drinks. Some tea and coffee will be provided, but if you'd like anything in particular please bring it along with you as well as a mug!

How do your promote your craft fairs?

The fairs are promoted with local fliers and posters that are distributed throughout Norwich. We post regularly on our social media pages about the event and the traders who will be joining us will get an individual post to promote their stall. We also run paid advertising on social media to promote the event. Our digital marketing is run by Search Me Marketing.

What measures are in place to combat Covid-19?

We have a risk assessment in place for the event including measures to keep us all safe against Covid-19. The main things to know is that face masks will be compulsory indoors, for stall holders and visitors, and hand sanitiser will be issued upon entry and readily available. You are able to view the full risk assessment here.
